'ACULEUS' in latin means: a spike / thorn or sting.
I have called this sword like that because it is light and quick, it has narrow spiky tip and in my opinion is very good for longsword fencing practice.It is not a kind of big longsword but it is more versatile weapon. Design, typology and parameters are based on and inspired by many original examples from first half of 15th century original longswords.
