Characteristics
The sword itself is a powerful but well-balanced and agile tool. The handle is in the late Middle Ages or even more Renaissance style. The handling is good, the bulge and risers provide stability and the length allows you to rotate while grabbing the pommel.
The sword has a German style blade with a cross-section and size typical of the Passau workshops.
That is a special project, dedicated to my good friend. I was guided by the selection of elements related to his personality, hence the selection of colors and motifs, which I had agreed with him in advance. However, I believe that in such cases it is sometimes good to also reflect the owner's personality. There is symbolism and mysticism, spirituality, but everything is in the style of the late Middle Ages, of course. It seems to me, after years of studying medieval art and the way of perceiving the world, that such an approach would have been familiar to them, craftsmen, hundreds of years ago.
