Croatian Great Sword, 14th century, based on museum examples. Inspired by some few examples from Croatian History Museum in Zagreb.
Dating
Most of the swords of this family is from late 14th century. They have length mostly close to 120cm, sometimes even 130cm and they are rather heavy, weight sometimes close to even 2kg. These swords were produced mostly in Passau workshop circle.
Characteristics
Sword has a good balance for it`s weight and provide strong cutting techniques. Large, rounded and flat pommel enable safe handling with back hand. This is the sword definitely designed for two hands.
