Crusader Sword brass pommel, early 12thC
Crusader Sword, early 12th century, inspired by original examples and historical sources.
Dark brown grip color. Brass pommel.
Very light and agile sword with a simple, disc pommel made with brass. Simple, straight crosguard, characteristic for this group of swords. Thick risers on the whole grip. That sword will be good for wide and fast cuts against a lightly armoured opponents.
It will fit the Crusades period of the 12th century, but also similar swords were popular throughout Europe.
Slightly twisted pommel, as we can see in many original swords.
