Double fuller Sword RW, 13thC
Double fuller sword, 13th century, inspired by original examples and historical sources, mostly German and Southern Europe.
Dark red grip color.
This sword is inspired by a sword from River Witham, British Museum. The double fuller blade has similar dimensions and the same type. Hilt elements, however, are slightly different: the simple crossguard has a hexagonal cross-section, typical of the style for Central Europe, the pommel is slightly larger in diameter. The blade is stiff and the entire sword is very agile in hand. The short handle provides excellent support for the hand.
