Engraved pommel Sword, 14thC
Nobleman Sword, late 14th century, inspired by original examples and historical sources.
Dark brown grip color.
The blade is strongly inspired by the sword from the Musee de l'Armee in Paris, it has basically exactly the same dimensions. The pommel decorations, beautifully engraved by master engraver Jacek Jankowski, are inspired by several original pommels, including: Battle Abbey sword, 'Szczerbiec', Thorpe falchion. Additionally, the pommel contains brass inserts with a knight's cross.
The sword, despite its decorated pommel, is a very practical and handy weapon. Good balance, a wide and stiff blade gives many advantages in short-range combat. The sword is maneuverable and very comfortable to use.
