German Early Longsword, early 14thC
Early Longsword, German Passau style, early 14th century, inspired by original examples from European museums.
Dark brown grip.
This is a fairly light sword for its type and size. As an Early Longsword it is designed for both two-handed and one-handed combat, which can be done with ease. The sword has a classic form with round cross-sections and a crossguard that has flared ends. The cross-section of the blade is characteristic of swords from the Passau region, Germany, 14th century.

I personally don't consider this a reliable test, but I know some of you just like to cut such targets, and I sometimes have fun doing it myself. This is the standard sharpness I send blades with, nothing special. The video is also amateur, not staged, not edited, just added music.

Sword Properties
Note: This sword, like any handcrafted sword in the medieval style, can have traces of the manufacturing process, minor irregularities or asymmetries resulting from the specificity of real craftsmanship and medieval understanding of aesthetics, that are completely normal and do not affect the quality of the sword, but give it a unique original character, consistent with medieval objects of the same kind.
