Longsword with cross inlays, 1370-1390
Longsword with cross inlays, 1370-1390, inspired by original examples from European museums.
Black grip.
This sword combines features from several of my designs, including the Protector, Elite Longsword, and many examples of Passau blades.
It is agile, comfortable and versatile. The pommel is traditionally inlaid with crosses, consistent with historical examples. On the blade, on one side, is an inlay of a cross in a circle.
Measurements:
total length 1125mm
bladse length 95mm
blade width 55mm
grip 163mm
crossguard 160mm
pommel 57x50x40mm
balance 80mm (at the inlaid cross mark)
weight 1410g
Note: This sword, like any handcrafted sword in the medieval style, has traces of the manufacturing process that are completely normal and do not affect the quality of the sword, but give it a unique original character
