Sword description (text by Peter Saffrie - the owner):
'The idea was born with the love of naked weapons and my Camino Frances in Spain. The pilgrims were protected by Templars who as elite unit have left their mark everywhere. The similarity of their past and the Special Forces of today can be seen in the sign on the sheath, a commando dagger and the sign of the Camino/Templars. On the scabbard 'Tueri GREGEM' which stands for 'protecting the flock / group' and refers to the purpose of the sword. 'In Hoc Signo Vinces' was the motto of the Templars meaning 'In this sign you shall conquer.' On the pommel, the round button, is the sign of the Pilgrim and the 15 first letters of my Camino family. Furthermore, on the sword in Arabic 'Maktub,' which is used in there world at everything that happens to them and is inevitable. Literally 'it is written.' Along with the ideas of Cam Fraser, Sarah-Michelle Haberfiel and others, the design has been made and perfectly executed by the Sword maker to a full and unique battle sword. '
