Michahelus, custom design, 14thC
'Michahelus' is a custom early longsword referring to Archangel Michael, 14th century.
The base design, type and proportions are inspired by original sword found in Swietokrzyskie Mountains, Poland, dated around 1230-1250.
That is an early longsword, with slightly longer grip.
Pommel is made with brass. On both sides is etched cross in Crusader`s form.
Scabbard
On black scabbard is latin name 'Michahelus'. There is also floral motif inspired by medieval art. Color of the belt is related to Arch. Michael blue tone, combined with gold.
There are also brass fittings based on original finds and art (circa 1300-1350).
Buckle with St George and strap-end with dragon are inspired by original finds dated to 14th century.
