'The first thing i noticed when i unpacked the sword was that its even more beautiful than the pictures. I asked for Maciej to do the scabbard tooling based on the Norman stone carving on the Lincoln Cathedral and the design he came up with is even better than i had imagined. The blade engraving is perfect. As for the sword itself it is extremely well made. Wide bladed but easily light enough for one hand due to the wide fuller. Sharp but not razor sharp as a medieval sword should be. The balance is also perfect. Every detail is flawless right down to the cord wrapped grip. Maciej is a true artist and i would not hesitate to recommend him as a swordmaker. His work is some of the finest i have seen yet.'
