Polish Longsword, early 14thC
Longsword inspired by original swords from European museums dated to the first half of 14th century. Black grip.
That sword is a classic and simple longsword with excellent handling. The close balance pointy makes it a very agile and well-controlled sword which can be easily used even with one hand, despite the weight of 1600g.
A fairly long, 225mm grip, also makes it adapted to the fencing techniques of a long sword, known from later treatises.
Such a sword well represents a large group of longswords popular in the first half of the 14th century.
