Sword from Cedynia, 12thC.

Sword from the grave Nr. 558, Cedynia / Poland.
This work is based on my reconstruction of the original sword found in the grave (558) near Cedynia town in Poland.  

The main source for my reconstruction was a Polish book of Paweł Kucypera, Piotr Pudło and Tomasz Kurasiński: 'Miecze z cmentarzyska w Cedyni, pow. gryfiński (stan. 2) w świetle najnowszych badań interdyscyplinarnych'.

Also very helpfull in recreation process, was the book of Alfred Geibig: 'Beiträge zur morphologischen Entwicklung des Schwertes im Mittelalter: Eine Analyse des Fundmaterials vom ausgehenden 8. bis zum 12. Jahrhundert aus Sammlungen der Bundesrepublik Deutschland' - 1991.
Actually my work was based on a few very similar examples, because of very poor state of preservation of original sword.
